Mishmash

Just before and during Christmas, both Opa and Oma from The Netherlands and Baka from Croatia visited us here.

This page is just a compilation of some pictures made during these days. As you can see, Vienna is quite beautiful in December (also during the rest of the year it is of course worth visiting...).

Here you can see Opa and Lorena in a busy Mariahilferstrasse. "Hilfe" means "Help" and "Strasse" means "Street". No idea how they came to this name, but rumours say that it is because it is the biggest shopping street in Vienna, where men are complaining about their wives and girlfriends and all their shopping, asking higher powers for assistance: "Maria, Help...".

Fact is that Oma and Baka were most of the days out...

Also the famous punch stands were visited.

For mum unfortunately only the alcohol-free "Children Punch"...

Lorena had her thoughts about it all...

Of course we also had presents under the Christmas tree...

But Lorena was more interested in the wrapping than the contents...

In any case, in general she is a very happy girl

Then a few scenery pictures...

A "candelier" with the moon in the background

Again with the moon in the background

And that was Christmas for this year...

This year has been great, but turned our lives completely upsite down...

On the last day of 2006 we would like to wish you all a great 2007 !
