Flu

This week there is not much to report on Lorena's adventures. The reason is that we were all laying flat on our back. Not because we are lazy, not because we were on holidays, but simply due to the fact that our little one got the flu somehow and managed to infect both parents as well. We haven't been this dizzy and sick since years. Who said that kids only bring joy to your lives...?

Fortunately, we had Viktorija, who could take care of Lorena during the days. Having said this all, it was quite sweet though to see the normally hyper-active Lorena, stuck against the cheast of both mum and dad, like a little sweet and tired kitten looking for comfort...

Lorena recovered  a bit quicker than mum and dad (because she started earlier) and already quickly found new fun things to do, such as climbing into the dish washer...

Lorena is very much afraid of the vacuum cleaner, but the Swiffer seems to be fun, maybe for different reasons than mum thinks....

... but how does that work...?

"Daaaady, don't you know something about this flying stuff...?"

Today she discovered some veeeery old audio cassette tapes and other last century's relics from daddy...

Lorena loved to take them out, but also to organise them properly again by putting them back. Here we can clearly see daddy's genes... Unfortunately the latter part went a bit uncoordinated and ended up in a mess due to clumsiness. One could only guess from which side of the family she has this...

But it's a matter of growing up, so we haven't lost hope yet, now that she is still not even one year old...
