Amsterdam
Although Lorena has a Dutch passport, she had never been in The Netherlands before. So last week was her first visit. This also might explain why she was such a good girl on the plane, because she knew she was going to the country of 50% of her ancestors...
It was a lot of fun. We stayed with aunt Yvonne (papa's sister), uncle Jeroen and the little cousins Amber and Zoë. Here are a few impressions.
Initially the cousins were a bit scary, so time to hide behind daddy...
But that changed quickly...
There were maaany new and interesting toys. Please don't disturb the Queen when she is busy with a new toy...
Dinner...
...and Lorena eating a whole apple for the first time...
Celebrating Lorena's First Birthday (indeed, for the third time...)
Typically Dutch...

And they have strange, however, interesting animals over there, not only "Wau Wau's" (dogs)
We planned to see a bit more of Amsterdam center, but Lorena decided to copy Zoë's cold and she became a bit sick. So we'll leave that for next time when she is bigger and will understand more anyway...
